Who we are

Climate Create Limited (collectively referred to as “the Company”, “We”, “Us” or “Our” in this Privacy Notice) is the Data Controller, is responsible for your Personal Data, and is responsible for maintaining this Website (URL: https://www.ecolane.co.uk). The Company is registered in England & Wales (Company no. 15480784).

Ecolane EV is a trading name of Climate Create Limited. Where you deal with Ecolane EV, the legal entity responsible for your Personal Data is Climate Create Limited.

Personal Data we collect about you

Personal Data, or personal information, means any information about an individual from which that person can be identified. We may collect, use, store and transfer different kinds of Personal Data about you which we have grouped together as follows:

• Identity Data includes: First Name, Last Name, Username, Title.
• Contact Data includes: Email, Phone Number.
• Technical Data includes: IP Address, Browser Type, Device Type, Operating System, Screen Resolution, Language Settings, Time Zone.
• Usage Data includes: Pages Visited, Time Spent on Site, Referring Source, Downloads, Forms Submitted, Links Clicked (collected in aggregated, non-identifying form).

We do not collect any Special Categories of Personal Data about you (this includes details about your race or ethnicity, religious or philosophical beliefs, sex life, sexual orientation, political opinions, trade union membership, information about your health and genetic and biometric data). Nor do we collect any information about criminal convictions and offences.

How we collect your Personal Data

We collect Personal Data from and about you when filling in forms or by corresponding with us by email. This includes Personal Data you provide when you:

• Request information about our services.

Who we share your Personal Data with

Our role in receiving and managing your Personal Data is as a Data Controller, which means that it is our responsibility to decide the purpose of using your Personal Data, manage how your data is processed, ensure compliance with data protection laws, and establish privacy policies.

In order to provide our services, in some instances we may have to share some of your Personal Data with third-party Data Processors which process data on our behalf. A Processor’s responsibilities are to perform data services for a Controller and act according to a Controller’s instructions. The responsibility for the purpose, management and compliance of the data remains with the Data Controller at all times.

The types of organisation with which we may share your Personal Data include: Vendors that supply goods and services, Contractors hired for specific projects or tasks, Consultants providing specialised advice or services, and Clients using our products or services. This also includes our website hosting and content delivery provider, Cloudflare, Inc., which processes technical data to deliver and secure this Website. In all cases, we require third-parties to respect the security of your Personal Data and to treat it in accordance with the law. We do not allow our third-party service providers to use your Personal Data for their own purposes and only permit them to process your Personal Data for specified purposes and in accordance with our instructions.

Cookies and Analytics

This Website uses only strictly necessary cookies required for the site to function and to keep it secure. We do not use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies.

To understand how visitors use our site, we use Cloudflare Web Analytics, a privacy-focused analytics service. It does not use cookies, does not fingerprint individuals, and does not track visitors across other websites. It collects aggregated, non-identifying information about page visits so that we can improve the Website.

You can set your browser to refuse all or some browser cookies, or to alert you when Websites set or access cookies. If you disable or refuse cookies, please note that some parts of this Website may become inaccessible or not function properly.

Change of purpose

Your legal rights

Unless subject to an exemption under the data protection laws, you have the following Data Subject Access Rights (DSARs) with respect to your Personal Data:

• The right to request a copy of the Personal Data which we hold about you;
• The right to request that we correct any Personal Data if it is found to be inaccurate or out of date;
• The right to request your Personal Data is erased where it is no longer necessary to retain such data;
• The right to withdraw your consent to the processing at any time, where consent was the lawful basis for processing your data;
• The right to request that we provide you with your Personal Data and where possible, to transmit that data directly to another Data Controller;
• The right, where there is a dispute in relation to the accuracy or processing of your Personal Data, to request a restriction is placed on further processing;
• The right to object to our processing of Personal Data, direct marketing or processing for the purposes of scientific, historical research and statistics.

Time limit to respond

We try to respond to all legitimate requests within 30 days. Occasionally it may take us longer if your request is particularly complex or you have made a number of requests. In this case, we will notify you and keep you updated.
